Weekdays 10am–3pm
Though I wasn’t born in Texas, I got here as fast as I could from the St. Louis area and consider myself 99% native. My Dad’s railroad job moved us to Spring in the late 70’s. I graduated from Spring High School and received a BFA in Radio/TV/Film from Sam Houston State University.
The radio bug bit early. I voiced my first radio commercial at age 13. My first real radio job out of college was at KLEV-AM (a very small country station) in Cleveland, TX . The majority of my 30+ year career has been up and down the dial here in Houston.
Music has always been a huge part of who I am. And live music makes me a very happy girl! I’m a huge hockey fan (Go Blues!), I love horses, cooking, reading and writing and am addicted to anything true crime related. And can you ever have too many tattoos? I have several and still want more ink. My favorite one is a peace sign on the inside of my wrist surrounded by water-color designs.
Giving back to Houston is really important to me. I am a long-time volunteer at RodeoHouston, and currently sit on the board of the Harris County Sheriff’s Office Mounted Patrol Foundation. I also host the public affairs broadcast, “On The Air”.
Currently, I live in Houston with my feline fur baby, Wednesday.
Love hangin’ out with you during your workday!
