Show Schedule - The Eagle 106.9/107.5

  • Dean & Rog Mornings

    5:00am - 10:00am

Dean & Rog Mornings on The Eagle 106.9/107.5 FM

    Weekdays 5AM–10AM

Dean and Rog have been waking up Houston for over 20 years. 107.5 The Eagle listeners have come to count on them for hilarious phone pranks and smart-aleck comments.

“People ask me, ‘Rog, what’s the secret to your success?’ It’s simple…chicks dig us and guys think they can take us. It’s a winning combination.”

“If I had a nickel for every time we were called “smart-alecks, we’d be wealthy guys, oh, wait—we are smart-alecks, where’s the damn money?” noted Dean.

Their show is the perfect balance of talk and music and just enough information to start your day. You won’t find any angry political talk here, just 5 hours of fun.

Fans of the show can’t get enough of the Birthday Scam, Redneck Roy, and the Dean and Rog Singers, and most importantly, the Drink of the Week.

Over the years they’ve raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for various local charities with their own Golf Tournament and famous Holiday “Best Of” CD’s; still available on eBay.

Dean and Rog first worked together 20 years ago in Saginaw/Flint Michigan where they had one of the highest rated morning shows in the country. Then it was off to Salt Lake City where they had one of the lowest rated morning shows in the country. Then they had 6 successful years in Denver, then Phoenix and ultimately here to Houston where they have become local legends. After a long and borderline historical run on the Arrow, they made the dramatic jump to 107.5 The Eagle.

  • Jennifer Tyler

    10:00am - 3:00pm

    Weekdays 10am–3pm

Though I wasn’t born in Texas, I got here as fast as I could from the St. Louis area and consider myself 99% native. My Dad’s railroad job moved us to Spring in the late 70’s. I graduated from Spring High School and received a BFA in Radio/TV/Film from Sam Houston State University.

The radio bug bit early. I voiced my first radio commercial at age 13. My first real radio job out of college was at KLEV-AM (a very small country station) in Cleveland, TX . The majority of my 30+ year career has been up and down the dial here in Houston.

Music has always been a huge part of who I am. And live music makes me a very happy girl! I’m a huge hockey fan (Go Blues!), I love horses, cooking, reading and writing and am addicted to anything true crime related. And can you ever have too many tattoos? I have several and still want more ink. My favorite one is a peace sign on the inside of my wrist surrounded by water-color designs.

Giving back to Houston is really important to me. I am a long-time volunteer at RodeoHouston, and currently sit on the board of the Harris County Sheriff’s Office Mounted Patrol Foundation. I also host the public affairs broadcast, “On The Air”.

Currently, I live in Houston with my feline fur baby, Wednesday.

Love hangin’ out with you during your workday!

  • Scott Sparks

    3:00pm - 7:00pm

    WeekDays 3pm–7pm

We’re not really sure if Scott Sparks has ever had a bad day in his life. He’s just so gosh darn happy. And likeable. And friendly. And down to earth. We could go on forever! At home, on the job, wherever he goes, his positive vibe is contagious, and we are proud to have his happy soul be the voice that delivers Houston’s favorite classic rock to our loyal, afternoon listeners. He has one of the best personalities around to serve up the kind of energy listeners crave during the week. Yeah, we’ve got great music, but it’s Scott’s talent that keeps listeners coming back. Of course we won’t fail to mention that he’s a purebred Texan and proud UT Man – (don’t worry, he’s cordial to Aggies.) We think he’s truly marked for success and know that any brand associated with him will be too. What you must know:

    Birthday: February 11th

    Birthplace: Victoria, Texas

    Favorite Drink: Monster

    Favorite Food: Anything free

Favorite TV Show: Killing Eve, Billions & Blacklist

Favorite Music: Petty, Def Leppard, Pearl Jam, Elton John Scott Speaks.

Q: How did you wind up in radio?
A: I thought it would be a good idea to give up mowing yards and work indoors where it’s air conditioned…wound up working in radio in Longview, Texas for $1.85 an hour. Should’ve kept mowing yards!
