SHEFFIELD, England – Johnny Depp crossed the Atlantic over the weekend and joined Jeff Beck on stage in Sheffield, England.
Videos surfaced online Sunday showing Depp and Beck performing their 2020 song “Isolation,” as well as Marvin Gaye’s “What’s Going On,” according to Entertainment Tonight.
Depp wanted to be a musician before he got into acting. According to The Hollywood Reporter, he testified at his defamation trial against ex-wife Amber Heard that because he wasn’t successful as a musician, he turned to acting.
Depp is suing Heard for $50 million in Virginia’s Fairfax County Circuit Court over a 2018 op-ed she wrote in The Washington Post describing herself as “a public figure representing domestic abuse.” His lawyers say he was defamed by the article even though it never mentioned his name.
The seven-person civil jury began its deliberations at 3 p.m. Friday.
The deliberations will resume on Tuesday.
