Lane Forman, 59, also was ordered to stay away from the governor’s family, the television station reported.

Forman was arraigned Oct. 7, and his bail was set at $5,000. He also has been ordered to wear a GPS bracelet and is forbidden to be near Baker’s home in Swampscott.

It is unclear why Forman broke into the home, WFXT reported. Forman will appear in court Nov. 4 for a pretrial hearing, the television station reported.

The accusations against Forman come in the wake of those against men who were charged with planning to kidnap Michigan Gov. Gretchen Witmer. The same group also discussed “taking” Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam, according to multiple reports.
