ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. – A mother and daughter were unharmed after a gust of wind toppled a gas station overhang while they were beneath it getting gas.
The woman finished pumping fuel, then got back into her car when the overhang came crashing down, KTVI reported. The metal columns holding it up fell onto the front of her car, barely missing the gas pumps.
“It was raining really heavy. I (saw) the thing shake a little bit and fell down. It freaked me out,” Rosie Beneux told KTVI. “I was just more shocked than anything.”
