Sammy Hagar is on tour with Jason Bonham, Joe Satriani, Michael Anthony and special guest Loverboy for their “Best of All Worlds” tour, which stops in The Woodlands at Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion on Friday.
While the show will mostly be a tribute to Van Halen’s Hagar-era, there’s a few songs from other eras of the Red Rocker’s career and those he shares the stage with. Here are the songs to know before the show:
1. Stand Up – Sammy Hagar and the Wabos
2. Good Enough – Van Halen
The song that introduced the world to a “new” Van Halen
3. Poundcake – Van Halen
4. Runaround – Van Halen
5. There’s Only One Way to Rock – Sammy Hagar
6. Judgement Day – Van Halen
7. Panama – Van Halen
A hit off of 1984 – when David Lee Roth fronted Van Halen
8. 5150 – Van Halen
9. Summer Nights – Van Halen
Might be the best “Van Hagar” song out there.
10. Ain’t Talkin’ ‘Bout Love – Van Halen
Michael Anthony takes the lead on vocals during this part of the set.
11. Top of the World – Van Halen
12. Satch Boogie – Joe Satriani
13. The Seventh Seal – Van Halen
14. Right Now – Van Halen
15. Why Can’t This Be Love – Van Halen
16. Eagles Fly – Sammy Hagar
17. Mas Tequila – Sammy Hagar and The Wabos
18. Heavy Metal – Sammy Hagar
19. I Can’t Drive 55 – Sammy Hagar
20. Space Station #5 – Montrose
21. Big Foot – Chickenfoot
While 3/4 of Chickenfoot will be playing the show, Chad Smith’s absence essentially makes this song a Chickenfoot cover.
22. Jump – Van Halen
Another Roth-era hit from 1984.
