Ringo Starr is embracing his country side with a new roots music album titled Look Up, set for release on January 10, 2025. The album, produced and co-written by legendary producer T Bone Burnett, features 11 tracks and includes contributions from artists like Billy Strings and Molly Tuttle.
The project originated when Starr asked Burnett for a song in 2022, and Burnett delivered nine country-inspired tracks, shaping the entire album. The first single, “Time On My Hands,” was co-written by Paul Kennerly, Daniel Tashian, and Burnett.
Reflecting on the process, Starr said, “I’ve always loved country music. When T Bone brought me nine songs, I knew we had to make an album! It was a joy to create, and I hope it’s a joy to listen to.”
