CMT will celebrate the life and legacy of the late Naomi Judd with special programing Tuesday night.

“CMT Remembers: Naomi Judd” will debut at 9 p.m. EDT Tuesday on the country music-centric network, with four encore presentations slated for 8:30 a.m. EDT Wednesday, 8 p.m. EDT Wednesday, noon Saturday and 11 a.m. EDT Sunday.

Judd, matriarch of the Grammy-winning mother-daughter duo The Judds, died Saturday at the age of 76. Her daughters, Wynona and Ashley Judd, attributed her death to the “disease of mental illness” and tearfully accepted her Sunday night induction into the Country Music Hall of Fame on her behalf.

According to CMT, the retrospective will feature archival footage and interviews interspersed with unforgettable performances from her double-decade career.
“The 30-minute television special will recount Judd’s colorful past as a trailblazer for women in country music and the duo’s path to becoming one of the most successful in country music history,” the network stated.

And the A-list country music stars already on deck to share the love include Loretta Lynn, Billy Ray Cyrus, Carrie Underwood, Martina McBride, Wynonna Judd and others.

McBride was scheduled to go on tour with the Judds later in 2022, Taste of Country reported.
Network executives will also include Judd’s final red-carpet interview at the 2022 CMT Music Awards earlier this month, as well as coverage of Sunday’s Country Music Hall of Fame induction ceremony.

In addition, CMT will air The Judds’ final performance of “Love Can Build A Bridge” from the most recent awards show every hour during music hours on CMT, CMT Music and CMT Pluto channels this week.
