Michael Scheumeister, 45, was found robbed and beaten to death the morning of Aug. 14, 1997, outside Mirror Lake Library in St. Petersburg. Police say DNA found on the inside of Scheumeister’s pants pockets match Patricia Morris, who died in 2010.

“The Lady of the Dunes” has been identified as Ruth Marie Terry, 37, of Tennessee. Terry’s body, which was missing her hands, was found July 26, 1974, among the dunes of Race Point Beach in Provincetown, Massachusetts.
