Source: Nearly 30 moms breast-feeding in the park

A married couple from Tampa, Florida, was removed from a Delta flight and later banned by the airline after flight attendants said the wife appeared to breastfeed her husband during the flight.

The incident happened Monday evening on a flight from Atlanta to Las Vegas. According to a report from airport police, 34-year-old Lauren Mitchell and her husband, 37-year-old Eric Mitchell, were seated in row 16 when a crew member noticed several passengers looking uncomfortable and trying to move seats.

A flight attendant told officers she approached the couple after seeing Lauren with her shirt pulled up over Eric’s head. The crew member said there appeared to be milk visible on Eric’s mouth when he sat back up. She asked them to stop and reminded them that this type of behavior was not allowed onboard. the wife had recently given birth and was still lactating, which is why she was able to produce breast milk

Police said the couple initially laughed, but the situation escalated when Eric allegedly argued with the crew, saying he was just hungry and did nothing wrong. The captain requested law enforcement meet the plane when it landed in Las Vegas. They weren’t arrested but Delta confirmed the couple was placed on its internal no-fly list pending review!
In case you’re wondering, she had just given birth and was in fact lactating!
