A new study suggests that certain intimate activities may do more than boost your love life, they could also help define your jawline. Researchers at the University of Toronto found that repeatedly engaging the jaw, throat, and neck muscles during high-intensity oral activity appeared to build more muscle endurance and create a tighter-looking jawline than chewing gum.

The five-month study followed 173 adult women, using facial muscle scans, tension tracking, and photographic analysis to measure changes. Women who performed the activity several times a week showed greater activation of the jaw and neck muscles, along with improved muscle tone, better jaw control, and less softness around the chin compared with those assigned to chew gum daily.

Researchers concluded that repeatedly working the jaw, neck, and facial stabilizer muscles creates a resistance-training effect similar to targeted facial exercises. The findings have sparked interest in unconventional, non-surgical ways to naturally enhance facial definition.
I don’t plan on telling my fiance these new findings!
