Cointreau has introduced a new chili-infused expression called Cointreau Spicy, created in response to the growing popularity of Spicy Margaritas.
The release is made using a blend that includes Bird’s Eye chili maceration, along with natural chili and jalapeño flavorings, and a hint of cucumber for a fresh, cooling balance.
According to master distiller Carole Quinton, Cointreau Spicy delivers a vibrant, bold heat designed to bring both intensity and versatility to cocktails, while still maintaining the brand’s signature orange liqueur profile.
The expression is aimed at making Spicy Margaritas easier to craft for both bartenders and home mixologists, tapping into the wider trend of bold, heat-driven flavor experiences in cocktails.
Cointreau Spicy is set to retail at around $36.
