Bryan Adams Talks ‘Roll With The Punches Tour’, New Album & Photography with Jennifer Tyler

Bryan Adams is bringing a few decades of rock history, a new album and one very cool tour lineup to Houston this summer.

Ahead of his “Roll With The Punches Tour” stop in Houston, Adams joined Jennifer Tyler to talk about the new music, the songs that still surprise him and the creative outlet some fans may not know as well: photography.

The tour supports Roll With The Punches, Adams’ 16th studio album, and Houston fans will also get Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo on the bill. For Adams, the live show remains fresh because the songs keep taking on new life in front of different crowds.

“Every time you go out and play them again, it’s another experience because of the way people react to the music,” Adams said. “I wrote so many songs in my kitchen, and I’m amazed that they’ve gone on to have this sort of enormous life beyond my kitchen.”

Adams also opened up about “Be The Reason,” one of the uplifting cuts from Roll With The Punches, saying he liked the idea of being “the reason to make somebody smile.”

Tyler also asked Adams about his photography, which he said began as a teenager when he took a camera on one of his first tours. These days, he said, he handles many of his own visuals, including album covers, videos and other creative projects.
