Rolling Stones’ Wild New Album Foreign Tongues

Rock ’n’ roll’s most unstoppable grandfathers are back and the music world is already losing its mind. The Rolling Stones have officially set July 10, 2026 as the release date for their explosive new album, Foreign Tongues, the long-rumored follow-up to 2023’s smash comeback record Hackney Diamonds. And if the early whispers are true, Mick, Keith and Ronnie are about to deliver the wildest late-career victory lap in rock history.

The album title had fans in detective mode for weeks after mysterious billboards popped up across the globe featuring the iconic tongue logo and cryptic foreign-language slogans. Turns out the clues were real: Foreign Tongues is officially happening, and insiders say the band recorded much of it at London’s Metropolis Studios with hotshot producer Andrew Watt back behind the controls.

And the guest list? Absolutely stacked. Reports say the album includes appearances from Paul McCartney, Robert Smith of The Cure, Steve Winwood and Chad Smith, plus several tracks featuring late Stones legend Charlie Watts on drums. One report even claims the band recorded a cover connected to Amy Winehouse.
So far, two songs are making major noise: “Rough and Twisted,” described as a dirty blues-rock stomper and the swaggering single “In the Stars,” which already has a flashy de-aging music video turning heads online. Other rumored track titles floating around include “Ringing Hollow,” “Hit Me in the Head” and “Back In Your Life.”
At ages when most rock stars are long retired, the Stones are somehow still moving faster than bands half their age and judging by the hype around Foreign Tongues, they’re nowhere near finished yet.
