Puppy Bowl

Pet tech startup Traini has raised $7.5 million for its $700 smart collar, which claims to translate a dog’s emotions into human language.

How it works: The collar tracks signals like barking patterns and heart rate

AI models trained on data from 2+ million dogs and peer-reviewed studies analyze those signals. A companion app turns them into simple messages like “I’m anxious” or “I want to play”

Traini says the system is 94% accurate. Not everyone is convinced. Some experts doubt animals can be translated into human language at all or that animals could understand us in return.

I would hate to know what my cat is saying to me!
