There’s apparently nothing more fun than SINNING . . . and DISNEY-ING, unless, of course, you’re doing your fun Texas-style, because Houston officially cracked the Top 10 “Most Fun Cities in America.”

A new national ranking looked at 65 different metrics: bars, restaurants, festivals, nightlife, you name it, and while Vegas and Orlando grabbed the top two spots (neon sins vs. mouse-ear magic), Houston strutted in at #6, proving once again that Space City is FAR more than traffic and humidity.

We’re talking world-class food, craft breweries everywhere, a festival for just about everything, live music seven nights a week, and sports that never give your wallet a break. They even factored in quirky stuff like how close you are to a bowling alley or frozen yogurt, and honestly, Houston’s got that covered, too.

The Top 10 Most Fun Cities ended up being: Las Vegas, Orlando, Miami, Atlanta, New Orleans, Houston, San Francisco, Austin, Portland, and the surprise of the decade, Cincinnati.

Just behind us: Chicago (#11), Denver (#12), St. Louis (#13), New York City (#14), Los Angeles (#17), Honolulu (#18), Pittsburgh (#24), Boston (#29), Nashville (#32), Cleveland (#46), and Detroit (#65).

Meanwhile, the least fun city? Shockingly, Pearl City, Hawaii at #182. Hawaii, who knew boredom came with a beach? Visit WalletHub.com for the full rankings.

Vegas still ranks No. 1 for nightlife and entertainment.

But if you’re trying to have fun on the cheap, pack your bags for Oklahoma City, the most affordable “fun” in America.

Here in Houston? We already knew we belonged in the Top 10. The rest of the country is just catching up.
