A Canadian sports-betting site just ran Google Keyword Planner numbers to figure out which NFL team America hates the most. And honestly, as a Texans fan, I figured the answer was obvious: the Dallas Cowboys, right?
Wrong. Shockingly, they didn’t even crack the top three.

Instead, the team America despises most is the Philadelphia Eagles, leading the pack with 13 states. Alabama, California, and Texas, all showing heavy anti-Philly search traffic. We have no love for Philly after years of trash talk, ugly fan behavior, and those endless “it’s always sunny” jokes.

Second-most hated? The Las Vegas Raiders with 8 states rooting against them. Considering their fans like to dress like post-apocalyptic pirates, it tracks.

Then there’s the tie for third between the New York Jets and the Green Bay Packers, claiming 6 states each. That sounds about right. Jets fans have been complaining since the dawn of time, and Packers fans keep bragging about quarterbacks like it’s a personality trait.

But here’s the real shocker:
The Dallas Cowboys are only tied with the Pittsburgh Steelers at 5th place, with just THREE states hating them the most.

THREE!

Look, here in Houston, we do NOT understand that. The Cowboys should be leading this list like it’s the NFC East in the ‘90s. Maybe the rest of America has gone soft, but Texans fans? We’ve always known the truth:

The Dallas Cowboys ane NOT “America’s Team” and we’re proud to be one of the states keeping the rivalry alive.
