Is This The Real KFC Recipe?
A man on TikTok is shaking up the fast-food world with a wild claim: he says he’s Colonel Sanders’ “great-great-great-nephew,” and that KFC has officially blocked him online. Why? According to him, it’s because he keeps calling the company out for “sexualizing” Colonel Sanders in their ads.
The guy, who posts under the handle @RealColonelSanders, has built his entire feed around the idea of being a distant relative of the fried-chicken icon. His content is all about “protecting the family legacy.” He’s been at it for years, but recently, his videos have been going increasingly viral.
He argues that KFC has spent the last decade turning Colonel Sanders into a marketing gimmick—sometimes even a romantic lead in cheeky campaigns. Think shirtless actors in white suits, or over-the-top parodies. He’s not amused.
KFC, apparently tired of the drama, blocked him. But that’s when things got extra spicy. He claims to have leaked the Colonel’s legendary secret chicken recipe—including the exact 11 herbs and spices:
Sage, garlic powder, cardamom, cayenne, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, coriander, ginger, white pepper, and black pepper.
So…did he really blow the lid off one of the biggest trade secrets in fast food? Hard to say. It could be the truth, a family tall tale, or just a clever stunt to rack up followers. Some even wonder if it’s all part of a sneaky marketing play from KFC itself.
Either way, the internet is eating it up, crispy, crunchy, and all.
