Freeway Of Love
When it comes to finding love, some people download Tinder, some sign up for Match, and others go on “Love Is Blind” hoping to marry someone they’ve never actually seen. But California Bay Area bachelorette Lisa Catalano? She skipped all of that and went straight for the freeway.
Catalano has been lighting up Highway 101 from Santa Clara to San Francisco with bold digital billboards featuring her face, her story, and a link to her website: marrylisa.com. It’s basically her own one-woman dating show, except instead of roses and hot-tub dates, it’s an online application form.
On her site, she lays it all out: her likes, dislikes, non-negotiables, and her dream of marriage and kids. Think of it like a “Bachelorette” contestant bio page, except Lisa is also the host, the lead, and the producer all rolled into one.
“I just want to meet somebody,” she told reporters. “I wasn’t having any luck any other way.”
Her approach has drawn plenty of attention. TikTok commenters have already compared her to a “real-life Netflix pitch.” Others questioned if she was chasing fame or simply tired of swiping right. But Catalano insists she’s genuine: “I’m definitely a real person. This is a real endeavor.”
And it comes with a bittersweet backstory — she was previously engaged, but her fiancé passed away in 2023. Now, she’s ready to love again.
So who knows? Maybe the next season of The Bachelor won’t even matter. Love might just be found on a billboard on the freeway
