Chappell Roan Covers Heart’s Barracuda

Chappell Roan delivered a fiery rendition of Heart’s “Barracuda” during her Sunday concert in New York with help from Heart singer-guitarist and the song’s co-author Nancy Wilson.

“Barracuda” is a song Roan has openly said is one of her favorites, and it’s become a recurring cover in her live shows.

Nancy Wilson and Roan had previously met, struck up a connection backstage at a Heart show, and Wilson had even offered to be Roan’s “rock ’n’ roll auntie” a sort of mentor/friend/support person in the music world. So, Nancy Wilson joined Chappel roan on stage this past Sunday night!

Chappel Roan “She has the best rock voice of all time, in my opinion,” she said. “Ann Wilson, unbelievable force. And so, so, so scary to me. I strive every day to sing with so much conviction and so confidently.”
