Alice Cooper and Judas Priest Kick It Off
Alice Cooper and Judas Priest kicked off their co-headlining tour Tuesday at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum in Biloxi, Mississippi, with Corrosion of Conformity opening. That tour rolls through Hoston just in time for Halloween!
Alice Cooper Surprises with Deep Cuts:
Cooper opened with “Hello, Hooray” before dusting off two rarities: “Who Do You Think We Are” (Special Forces, 1981) and “Spark in the Dark” (Trash, 1989), neither played live in decades.
Judas Priest Brings the Power:
Priest delivered a 14-song set stacked with six tracks from 1990’s Painkiller, including “A Touch of Evil,” “Between the Hammer & the Anvil,” and the thunderous title song.
Cooper recently reunited with his original band for The Revenge of Alice Cooper, their first album since 1973, while Priest continues to honor Ozzy Osbourne with their long-running “War Pigs” cover—soon to be re-recorded with Osbourne himself.
