A new poll shows nearly 9 in 10 Americans now say iPhones have gotten just too expensive, and it’s not hard to see why.

The entry-level iPhone 17 will set you back about $800. Want to go big with the Pro Max, decked out with two terabytes of storage? You’ll be staring down a price tag of roughly $2,000, basically the cost of a decent laptop!
