Hug Jackman Pays Tribute to Neil Diamond

“Song Sung Blue is a movie about two musicians from Milwaukee who form a Neil Diamond tribute band and find love in the process.”

Hugh Jackman and Kate Hudson star in the film, with Jackman dressed in full Neil Diamond regalia singing hits like “Sweet Caroline” and “Cherry, Cherry.”

The film is based on a true story and is a fictionalized version of a 2008 documentary of the same name.

Jackman’s character tells Hudson, “You’re my August Night, my ‘September Morn,’ my ‘Cracklin’ Rosie,'” embracing the Neil Diamond persona.

Song Sung Blue also features actors Michael Imperioli, Ella Anderson, Fisher Stevens, and Jim Belushi and is set to be released in theaters on December 25.
