Worst Fast Foods In America!
Turns out the Golden Arches’ chicken game isn’t exactly finger-lickin’ fabulous. According to a new study by Restaurant Furniture Plus, yes, a furniture company that moonlights as food critics, McDonald’s buttermilk chicken tenders have been crowned the worst fast-food item in America. Ouch.
The study looked at Google Reviews from 1,600 restaurants across 16 chains and scored items out of five. McDonald’s tenders came in at a sad 2.03, with customers calling them “dry,” “chewy,” and sometimes “burnt to a crisp.” A few unlucky diners even claimed they got sick after eating them. Not exactly the marketing slogan McDonald’s was going for. And here’s the kicker: chicken actually showed up on both ends of the list. When done right, it’s a winner. When done wrong—well, let’s just say there’s room for improvement.
