Louis Vuitton is stepping into the beauty world with the launch of its La Beauté line this Friday and if you’re thinking of stocking up, you may want to start tightening your budget now. A single lipstick will set you back $160, while eyeshadow palettes ring in at $250. Even their “entry-level” lip products, priced at $69, suddenly seem like a bargain (spoiler: they’re not). In its press release, the French luxury house declares: “Much more than simply a line of cosmetics, this new dimension ushers in a world of exciting possibilities.” Judging by the price tags, those “possibilities” might just include a long-term relationship with your local debt collector.
