Dawson’s Creek Reunion

The cast of Dawson’s Creek is reuniting for a special live charity reading of the show’s very first episode in support of James Van Der Beek, who revealed last year that he was diagnosed with stage 3 colorectal cancer. Scheduled for Sept. 22, in New York City, the event will bring together Michelle Williams, Katie Holmes, Joshua Jackson and series creator Kevin Williamson.

Organized in partnership with the nonprofit F Cancer, the reading aims to raise awareness about the importance of routine screenings and early detection. Van Der Beek has been candid about his symptoms and diagnosis, urging others to take a proactive approach to their health. The beloved teen drama, which ran from 1998 to 2003, left a lasting cultural mark and helped launch the careers of its stars.
