You Cant Stop The Rock!

On July 23, 1979, Iran’s Ayatollah Khomeini banned rock music. Why? Because music from Western cultures was declared “decadent,” and just like that, headbanging became a revolutionary act.
Fast forward to 2012. Iranian scientists at a nuclear facility suddenly found themselves under attack, not by drones, but by decibels.
According to cybersecurity reports (yep, this really happened), a virus hit their internal computer network. But instead of stealing secrets or launching warheads, it had one glorious mission: blast “Thunderstruck” by AC/DC at full volume, on repeat, through lab speakers… at 3AM.
That’s right. Somewhere in a secret bunker, Iranian engineers were trying to build nukes while the greatest music ever recorded “tortured” them all night long. They couldn’t stop it. Couldn’t mute it. Just wave after wave of the best of AC/DC. One anonymous insider called it “psychological warfare.” For the Western world, we call that a normal Saturday night!
No hacker group ever claimed responsibility, probably because they were too busy headbanging in a Guy Fawkes mask. But the message was loud and clear: You ban rock? We just turn it up loud enough to break through a firewall.
So on the anniversary of the Ayatollah’s war on rock, remember this: You can ban the music… but you can’t stop the rock!
Iran didn’t get “Rick-rolled”, they get rock & rolled!
You’ve been Thunderstruck!
