Jason Bonham, son of late Led Zeppelin drummer John Bonham, will be celebrating the 50th anniversary of Physical Graffiti by hitting the road for a summer tour. The tour will feature at least 21 cities through the entire month of May, including Houston.

The legendary Zeppelin album, released in 1975, was the group’s sixth studio album, reaching No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 200 chart. It went on to sell over 9 million copies worldwide, and is RIAA certified 16x platinum.

Bonham cites Physical Graffiti as his favorite album, according to a press release announcing the tour:

“This is my favorite Led Zeppelin album of all time,” Bonham said. “Being able to celebrate it the way we are planning on this tour is something I am extremely excited about. I can’t wait for people to come out and see these shows and celebrate this extraordinary record with us. And don’t worry there will be plenty of other songs that you also love played that night.”

Bonham and his band, Jason Bonham’s Led Zeppelin Evening, are looking to add more shows to the tour. Bonham hopes to play 50 shows in honor of 50 years. JBLZE will play Physical Graffiti in its entirety at every show, along with several other iconic Zeppelin hits.
