PLAINS, Ga. – Former President Jimmy Carter has made the difficult decision to enter home hospice care, but that does not mean the atmosphere is grim at his home in Plains, Georgia.
Carter, 98, who served as the nation’s 39th president from 1977 to 1981, watched with his wife Rosalynn, as their grandson and his wife put on a juggling show, WSB-TV reported.
James Earl Carter IV and his wife, Sally Carter, performed on Monday at their grandparents’ home, according to the television station.

“We are all juggling a lot lately. But yesterday my wife and I got to juggle for my grandparents,” James Carter IV tweeted. “They loved it.”
The video does not show the former president or first lady.
Jimmy Carter, the oldest living former president, will remain at his home in South Georgia, according to The Carter Center. The organization founded by Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter made the announcement on Saturday.
