ORLANDO, Fla. – An ex-employee of Walt Disney World was arrested and charged after allegedly taking videos up the skirts of multiple women visiting the Central Florida theme park.
Jorge Diaz Vega, 26, was caught by security on March 31 reportedly recording a woman visiting the park, according to WFTV. A witness informed security when they saw it happen.
According to a police report obtained by the news outlet, Diaz confessed to deputies of taking videos up the skirts of women he did not know at the theme parks over the last six years.
Diaz allegedly told investigators that he recorded more than 500 videos, according to The Associated Press.
Diaz worked at the Star Wars gift shop at Disney World’s Hollywood Studios until his arrest. The AP reported that he had been charged with a count of video voyeurism. If convicted, he could be looking at up to five years in prison.
Diaz was released on a $2,500 bond, the AP reported.
A spokesperson for Disney World told WFTV that Vega no longer works there.
