MOULTRIE, Ga. – A 91-year-old South Georgia man died Tuesday after he became trapped under his tractor, authorities said.

Colin White, of Norman Park, was identified by Colquitt County Coroner Veryln Brock, The Moultrie Observer reported.

According to the Colquitt County Sheriff’s Office, deputies and emergency personnel responded to White’s farm when he was discovered trapped under the right rear wheel of the tractor.

No foul play is suspected, according to the Observer. According to the sheriff’s office, it is believed that White was climbing aboard the tractor to mow some fallen leaves. Deputies believe White was attempting to jump-start the vehicle while it was in gear.

According to his obituary, White, who was born Aug. 16, 1930, near Soperton, Georgia, was retired from civil service as a mechanic.
