Joe, of Woodbridge, is being held without bond.

Witnesses told authorities the suspect fell through the ceiling of Onelife Fitness at around 1:15 p.m. Saturday and traveled about 10 feet before hitting the floor, the outlet reported.

Gym patrons reportedly cornered Joe until authorities arrived, and one woman recorded the entire episode on video, WDVM reported.

“As I was walking into the locker room, the women’s locker room, I saw the ceiling moving. … I just thought that was weird at first, and then I just started seeing someone’s legs fall off from the ceiling,” bystander Jennifer Benitez, told the TV station after posting the video on her TikTok feed.

“All of us women were like, ‘What is going on?’” Benitez said, noting at first the women assumed the suspect was a maintenance worker until they realized he was not in uniform and in a terrible hurry to escape the locker room.

“He just looked suspicious, like walking away from the women’s locker rooms. He was like all dirty and everything, and of the members there stopped him, and they all cornered him, and he had no choice but to run into one of the individual bathrooms that my gym has,” she added.

Benitez told WDVM that the suspect brought a rope ladder with him to gain access to the women’s locker room.
