Slow down: Iowa State Patrol pulls over driver going 129 mph
FORT DODGE, Iowa – Whoa, slow down. That is the message the Iowa State Patrol is trying to impress on drivers.
In a Facebook post, troopers showed a photo of a vehicle pulled over near Fort Dodge, KCCI reported.
According to the post and accompanying photo, a trooper clocked the driver at 129 mph on Highway 20 in Webster County on Tuesday.
The trooper said the driver’s excuse was, “I didn’t realize I was speeding.”
“Enough is enough — Please slow down!!!” The patrol posted on Facebook.
