The former NFL quarterback and the Vermont-based ice cream company announced “Change the Whirled,” a new flavor that they hope will bring a focus on equity and justice through “love and resistance,” they said in a news release.

“Colin Kaepernick and his Know Your Rights Camp is the perfect partner for Ben & Jerry’s to continue to advance our work on issues of racial justice,” Ben & Jerry’s CEO Matthew McCarthy said in a news release.

Part of the proceeds will be donated to Know Your Rights Camp, founded by Kaepernick in 2016.

The frozen treat is nondairy based, with caramel dairy-free sunflower butter with fudge chips, graham cracker swirls and chocolate cookie swirls.

Kaepernick is vegan, so the nondairy ingredients were chosen for him.

“Change the Whirled” will be available at Scoop Shops and at stores across the country starting next year.

It will also be available internationally in selected areas.
