SIMI VALLEY, Calif. – Authorities in Simi Valley, California, arrested a man Sunday in connection with the disappearance and death of 25-year-old Rachel Castillo.
Castillo’s remains were discovered Sunday in a remote Antelope Valley location, and her ex-husband has been taken into custody, KTLA-TV reported.
Zarbab Ali, 25, of Hawthorne, was arrested at his parents’ home in Victorville “in connection to Rachel’s homicide,” police said in a news release.
The couple share a 5-year-old and a 2-year-old, KTLA eported.
Castillo was reported missing Thursday after a “significant amount of blood” was found in the home she shared with her sister, CNN reported.
