On January 21st, 2022 we’ll get a new John Mellencamp album “Strictly A One-Eyed Jack”.

The cover is a portrait of John wearing an eye patch done by his 26 year old son Speck Mellencamp.
At first Mellencamp had put a teaser up to the song “I Always Lie To Strangers”.
He then performed that song live at “Farm Aid 2021″ and you can watch that performance here.
The next song we got to hear was his duet with Bruce Springsteen “Wasted days”.
Now you can check out the latest song from the album “Chasing Rainbows”.
The song’s intro makes me think of The Band’s “The Weight”.
