Medina left the residence, and when he returned later that night, he allegedly struck the victim, according to the police report.
The victim then called police, who then arrested Medina when he attempted to flee the residence, WEAR reported.
Medina is currently being held in the Escambia County Jail without bail. He will appear in court on March 4, according to online booking records.
