EXCLUSIVE: Ed Sheeran Contemplated Quitting Music

First things first. Yes, we interviewed Ed Sheeran IN PERSON. Crazy, right? It was so liberating to be off of Zoom finally.

Anyways, ED SHEERAN IS BACK! He released his new single “Bad Habits” along with a new music video at midnight and it is the perfect song to kick off summer.

“But bad habits lead to late nights, ending alone / Conversations with a stranger I barely know,” Sheeran croons on the upbeat track. “Swearing this will be the last but it probably won’t / I got nothing left to lose, or use, or do.”

Our #UpNextMusic host Syke sat down with Ed and found out that he actually contemplated quitting his music career to be a full-time dad. When asked about becoming a father and possibly doing just that, here’s what he said:

I was literally going to quit full-time. I had Lyra and I was like that’s it. I’m a dad, I love this.
