Rapper T.I. gives 1,000 Thanksgiving turkeys to families in need at Atlanta event
ATLANTA – Grammy Award-winning rapper T.I. is spreading cheer to families in need ahead of the Thanksgiving holiday.
According to WSB-TV, the Atlanta native, whose real name is Clifford Harris, and members of his family handed out 1,000 turkeys, as well as greens and desserts, Tuesday during his 15th annual turkey giveaway in northwest Atlanta.

Harris and his nonprofit, the Harris Community Works Foundation, teamed up with Atlanta City Council member Andrea Boone, Humana and Kroger to host the drive-thru event at Jackson Memorial Baptist Church, the council said in a news release.
“It’s just working together, coming together and making this a big event,” Violeta Morgan, the rapper’s mother, told WSB-TV.
