Parents witness child’s alleged sexual assault on preschool’s livestream video, police say
PORTAGE, Mich. – A former Michigan child care worker is facing criminal sexual conduct charges after a student’s parents witnessed their child’s alleged sexual assault on a preschool’s livestream video.
Aaron Joe Bryant, 19, was arraigned Monday on one count of second-degree criminal sexual conduct with a child under age 13, WXMI reported.
Bryant, who began working for Gilden Woods Early Care and Preschool in the fall of 2019, was arrested Oct. 29 at his Hartford home after the parents reported the incident to Children’s Protective Services, the TV station reported.
Bryant is no longer employed by Gilden Woods, MLive.com reported, but it was not immediately clear when he was terminated.
Police said Gilden Woods’ management has worked closely with their investigators and state agencies to address the incident, and the investigation continues to determine if there are any other victims, MLive.com reported.
