FARRELL, Pa. – A protester who was hit by a car during a George Floyd protest in Pennsylvania is now facing charges, WFMJ-TV reported.

Jason Howell, 45, of Sharpsville, is charged with recklessly endangering another person, disorderly conduct and obstructing highways.

The protest during which Howell was hit happened June 5 in Farrell, Mercer County.

Amanda Hogenmiller, the 33-year-old woman who drove through the crowd of people and hit Howell, was previously charged with recklessly endangering another person, simple assault and careless driving.

Three other people are also charged in connection with the protest, WFMJ-TV reported.
