According to a press release from McDonald’s, for a limited time, the franchise is offering a special Happy Meal inspired by the latest “Black Panther” film with 10 superhero toys based on its characters. Each Happy Meal will include one of the 10 superhero toys at participating restaurants nationwide while supplies last.

“The first “Black Panther” movie inspired a new generation of Marvel lovers – and that’s because of the powerful story it told, brought to life by an incredibly talented cast,” said Jennifer Healan, Vice President of U.S. Marketing, Brand Content and Engagement at McDonald’s, in the news release. “It set a whole new standard for representation on the big screen. And now, we’re excited to bring that experience to our restaurants and help fans see and celebrate their inner hero with this new Happy Meal – because seeing is believing.”

According to KTLA, the toys aren’t the only thing that is “Wakanda Forever”-related. McDonald’s also changed the design of the Happy Meal box to look like “Black Panther’s” uniform. It still has the traditional golden arches on the handles as well as a golden smile.

According to People Magazine, the new movie comes about two years after Chadwick Boseman died in 2020, and his death is reportedly incorporated into the sequel. Boseman played T’Challa. “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” stars Angela Bassett, Tenoch Huerta, Letitia Wright, Danai Gurira and Lupita Nyong’o, according to Marvel. The movie will cover what is next for Wakandans following King T’Challa’s death.

The Happy Meal is available now for a limited time while supplies last, according to KTLA.
