A new survey from OnePoll found that most of us need “boosts” to get through the day. Our first pick-me-up is needed at 9:12am. After lunch, at 1:18pm, is when we need the biggest “boost”. With Daylight Saving Time ending this weekend, 60% of those surveyed feel they need more boosts when the clocks go back due to it being darker for more of the waking day.

“Everyone enjoys a boost to help them through the day, whether it’s listening to your favourite song, getting good news or having a cup of coffee.” according to Jeff Dodds, chief operating officer at Virgin Media O2 who commissioned the poll.
