COCKE COUNTY, Tenn. – A pair of Tennessee deputies made a girl’s day as they stopped to buy some cups of lemonade at her booth.

Deputy Tony Bailey and Sgt. Joey Owings of the Cocke County Sheriff’s Office dropped by Saturday when they saw the child selling the drinks for 50 cents a cup, WBIR reported.

The girl had set up a lemonade stand in Cocke County on Saturday, the television station reported. She said she wanted an officer to stop by for a drink.

The deputies could not resist, and Owings even posed for some photos with the girl and her relatives, the sheriff’s office wrote in a Facebook post.

The sheriff’s office thanked the girl in a Facebook post for the drink — and for the invitation.
