Mom and daughter appear together on Vogue Germany’s January issue.

It’s the first cover for the younger Klum.

It is also the first time Leni Klum was undisguised in photos.

In the past, images of her and her siblings Johan, Henry and Lou, were frequently pixelated for their protection, Vogue reported.

At the age of 16, Heidi Klum allowed her daughter to have her image made public.

“Sixteen is a good age,” Heidi told the publication. “If you are allowed to drive a car, you can also have an official Instagram account and how your face. And to be allowed to start with a Vogue cover is an insane privilege.”

Leni Klum now joins the elite group of models whose kids are now following in their stiletto footsteps including, Kaia Gerber, daughter of Cindy Crawford; Lilly-Rose Depp, daughter of Vanessa Paradis; Georgia May Jagger, daughter of Jerry Hall; and Lila Grace Moss, daughter of Kate Moss.

Like almost any parent, Heidi Klum is sad that her daughter is striking out on her own but at the same time proud of her accomplishments.

In a post on Instagram, the supermodel wrote in German, translated by Entertainment Tonight, “And even if it is a little difficult for me to let go of you into this world, I will always do everything so that you are happy and that your dreams come true. I am proud to be your mom!”
