Two cars were involved in the crash at about 4:30 p.m. MST, with one of the vehicles careening into the corner of a home, Sgt. Ann Justus, a spokesperson for the Phoenix Police Department, told KPNX-TV.

Cpt. Scott Douglas, public information officer for the Phoenix Fire Department, said three 14-year-olds were hospitalized in critical condition and a 15-year-old was in stable condition, according to KPHO-TV.

Surveillance video from a neighbor’s home showed a red Jeep heading west and preparing to make a left-hand turn. A white Honda attempted to pass the Jeep on the left, tapping the vehicle and sending the Honda into the home across an intersection, the television station reported.

Justus said there was no evidence of impairment playing a role in the crash, according to KPHO.

According to Phoenix police, the driver of the Honda will be cited for not wearing a seatbelt, failure to control speed and driving without a license, KNXV-TV reported.

The age of the driver was not released by police.
