The incident happened around 4 a.m. at the Twister Wireless on East 41st Street, near the intersection of South Sheridan Road.

Surveillance video released by police showed someone driving a 3,300-pound taupe ‘96 Buick Century through the front glass of the store. Three other people could then be seen entering the store, with all four smashing cases and stealing more than $15,000 worth of electronics.

Authorities believe the Buick, which was abandoned after the theft, was stolen. The burglars fled from the scene in a separate getaway car, police said.

The store’s manager told KOKI-TV that someone had tried to break into the store earlier in the night. He said damages were estimated to be around $50,000.
