Firefighters rescue dog from California freeway overpass
EL SEGUNDO, Calif. – A small dog that somehow wound up on a highway overpass in California was saved by firefighters in El Segundo Monday.
Photos posted by the El Segundo Fire Department on Facebook show crews using a ladder truck to grab the small animal from above the Interstate 105.
The firefighter rescuing the dog did suffer some bites while bringing the dog down, according to the Facebook post.

This dog was saved by firefighters after he was found on a California freeway overpass.
At this point, it’s unknown whether the dog has an owner or how it got on the overpass, KTLA reported.
