Tammy Renae Olson was sentenced to four years behind bars for vehicular homicide, with credit for 91 days already served, KTSP reported. Olson changed her plea from not guilty to guilty as part of a plea deal earlier this month, according to the station.

On June 1, a witness told police that Olson was in a black Audi, yelling at him for not moving through the Taco Bell drive-through fast enough, before she sped off, hit and killed Joyce Acosta, 84, who was in a crosswalk, KMSP reported.

Police said that when they found Olson at her home that night, they saw damage to the front of her vehicle, KSTP reported. Olson allegedly admitted to having a few alcoholic drinks before driving, and said that her license had been canceled after she had multiple convictions for driving under the influence.

Olson initially told police that Acosta ran out in front of her after she left Taco Bell, but later admitted to leaving the scene after the accident, KMSP reported.
