Leslie Socolov, 64, who worked for the Miami-Dade police homicide department, was wearing her department jacket when she began a profanity-laced tirade at the SUV, the Miami Herald reported. The alleged incident occurred Saturday night in Boca Raton, the newspaper reported.

“Just because you’re Jewish and a Democrat doesn’t give you the right to stay there,” Socolov yells as laughter can be heard in the background, the newspaper reported. “Move your (expletive) car, you stupid Jew!”

Socolov, was arrested on a charge of DUI and disorderly intoxication by the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, according to Boca News Now.

The video was posted to Twitter by the StopAntiSemitism.org website, according to the Herald.

The Miami-Dade Police Department, in a tweet Tuesday night, denounced the former employee, who served almost 20 years recording the statements of witnesses and murder suspects.

“This hateful speech is appalling and does not represent the values of the MDPD,” the tweet stated.

Police officials said its Homeland Security bureau was investigating the incident.

Reached by a reporter Tuesday, Socolov said she was not anti-Semitic and was Jewish herself, the Herald reported.

She insisted that she said “you,” not “Jew,” and that she wore the police jacket because it was the only one she had in her car, according to the newspaper.

“I’m not anti-Semitic. I’m getting persecuted,” Socolov said. “Look at these Democrats getting away with (expletive).”
